Easy to install and use,
the EPS Refrigerator Guardian provides up to
several days of backup for refrigerators up to
25 cubic feet in size. (actual time is based upon
the efficiency and size of your refrigerator) Used most
often in settings where the operation of the refrigerator is
essential, the EPS Refrigerator Guardian provides
peace of mind to the owner and safety to the contents of the
refrigerator, protecting all temperature sensitive materials
during any type of power outage.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- The EPS Refrigerator
Guardian is installed as a backup power supply, by
plugging the unit into the outlet used by the
refrigerator and plugging the refrigerator into the
outlet at the rear of the Guardian. After turning on the
Guardian, it will provide ongoing power backup
protection to your refrigerator without
maintenance of any kind.
- When the power goes out,
the Refrigerator Guardian immediately provides
power to operate the refrigerator without any
interruption and will continue to power the
refrigerator ongoing during the outage. When the power
comes back on, the current returns to powering the
refrigerator, while also automatically recharging
the Refrigerator Guardian.
- Due to the amount of
battery used, the Refrigerator Guardian is heavy;
the main unit is 65 lbs. and two add-on
batteries each weigh 38 lbs. However, they take
up very little space and will fit behind or near the
refrigerator.

A: The EPS
Refrigerator Guardian is a unique electrical design that uses an
inverter, transformer and rechargeable batteries to create stored
power of 6000W of energy. The design and specifications are so
advanced pure sine wave current is generated by the unit to provide
improved current to your refrigerator/Freezer at all times and allow
it to run smoothly and effectively. Additionally, we provide surge

A: It is
impossible to state how long every size or model will run, due to
the difference in efficiency and energy use by different models.
However, we have tested up to 25 cubic foot new models and run them
for at least 60 hours. We cannot guarantee times for your model, but
we have 6000W of power to use to run yours! |

| Q: How do I install
it? |
|
A: It is very
simple. The first thing to do upon receiving the unit is to turn it
on and plug it into an active outlet. Leave in there for 24 hours
(turned on) to achieve optimal charge. One way to use it is to
dedicate the unit to the R/F. To do this, you plug the EPS
Refrigerator Guardian into an outlet and plug the R/F into the EPS
Refrigerator Guardian (one of the four outlets in the rear). This
will allow the unit to power your R/F at all times during a power
outage. If, however, restrictions of space will not allow this,
still charge the unit and store it in a convenient place. Then, when
power is lost, plug the R/F into it and it will power it as if
plugged into an outlet. (if second method is used, recharge the unit
every 6 months or so to make sure it is charged when needed). |
